The Regulator Transmission Actuator - Rubber Diaphragm
Rubber diaphragm is not only the sensing element but also the transmission actuator of the gas regulator. In the regulator adjustment mechanism, rubber diaphragm works by moving the connecting rod to realize the regulation of outlet pressure. This diaphragm is characterized by high sensitivity and good air tightness. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good heat resistance, high tensile strength and long service life.
The rubber diaphragm is the transmission actuator of the gas regulator.
According to the shape, rubber diaphragm can be divided into three types, that is, the planar rubber diaphragm, discotic rubber diaphragm and corrugated rubber diaphragm. Planar rubber diaphragm has simple making process. It has poor sensitivity.
According to the structure, rubber diaphragm can be divided into two types, that is, rubber diaphragm without skeleton and rubber diaphragm with skeleton. The former has simple structure and good flexibility. The latter has high tensile strength and good loading capacity.
According to the material, rubber diaphragm can be divided into two types, nitrile rubber diaphragm and chloroprene rubber diaphragm. Nitrile rubber has good corrosion, solvent and oil resistance. It is applicable temperature ranges from -40°C to +120°C. But this type rubber has poor flexibility. Neoprene rubber has high tensile strength and good ozone resistance. It is relatively stable in oil. But has poor low temperature resistance.
